Xue Yan- age 9- is in second grade. She lives in Funan County. She lives with her grandmother and sister. Her mother passed away several years ago from HIV/AIDS.

She is quiet and caring. She likes to help her sister with chores around the house.

Pei Yan- age 6- is from XinXiang, Henan. She lives with her father. She loves singing and performing. When she is not in school, she likes to watch cartoons on TV.
