Yao Tien is 8 and lives in Funan, Anhui. He lives with his brother, father and grandfather. Yao Tien and his father are HIV positive, and are both taking antiretroviral medication. His mother, unfortunately, passed away from AIDS in 2004. He started first grade last year and looks forward to second grade.

Ling Fong is 9 years old. He lives in Lixin County, Anhui. His nickname is XiaoMao. He lives with his grandfather and brother. Both of his parents and 3 of his 4 uncles have passed away from HIV/AIDS.

Ling Fong hopes to enroll in school in the near future. His favorite activities are swimming and playing basketball. He likes to eat meat and noodles.
